SuNRISE Flow

Sunrise Flow is a dedicated and energising morning practice designed to awaken body, breath, and mind. Drawing inspiration from the timeless wisdom of Haṭha Yoga, it blends mindful movement, gentle flows, and intentional breathwork (prāṇāyāma) to cultivate vitality, clarity, and balance for the day ahead.

Each session opens with sequences that honour the awakening of the day — a harmonious blend of flowing postures, breath‑led movement, and internal awareness. The practice may include asanas such as Tāḍāsana (Mountain Pose), Uttānāsana (Standing Forward Fold), Anjaneyasana (Low Lunge), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Setu Bandha Sarvāṅgāsana (Bridge Pose), and Vṛkṣāsana (Tree Pose). These postures are woven into a gentle but energising flow to open the body, strengthen the core, and balance energy.

Through repetition and mindful alignment, Sunrise Flow builds tapas (inner heat), awakens bala (strength), and fosters a sense of calm readiness. The practice moves seamlessly from gentle openings to invigorating flow, helping you step into your day with clarity, presence, and vitality.

Following this gentle yet energising practice, the class moves into prāṇāyāma (breath regulation) — techniques such as Nāḍī Śodhana, Ujjāyī, or Bhrāmarī may be introduced to awaken and balance the body’s energy pathways while cultivating calm alertness. This is followed by a guided dhyāna (meditation) on antar‑jyoti (inner light) or śvāsa‑dhāraṇā (breath awareness), allowing you to centre yourself before stepping into the day.
