200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Step into the world of authentic yoga education with Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training — a Yoga Alliance–registered (RYS-200) course designed to empower sincere practitioners with the knowledge, discipline, and confidence to teach yoga safely and effectively.
Rooted in traditional yogic science and aligned with modern anatomy and pedagogy, this 10-weekend training offers a holistic foundation in asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and teaching methodology.
AWAKEN THE TEACHER WITHIN
Every practitioner eventually reaches a point in their journey where yoga starts to whisper something deeper, something that goes beyond form and flexibility. A silent call to comprehend, to embody, to share.
If you feel drawn toward a deeper journey, this is where it begins. Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is an immersive experience designed to deepen awareness, strengthen discipline, and reconnect you with the true essence of yoga.
Rooted in the Himalayan tradition and guided by modern understanding, the training covers asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology as living practices — not just techniques. Whether your goal is to teach authentically or deepen your personal practice, this Yoga Alliance certified (RYS-200) course offers a supportive path for growth, self-discovery, and transformation.
A PATH OF SADHANA AND SERVICE
At Rudrakshaa Yogashala, we believe every teacher is first a seeker — a
sadhaka walking the inner path with humility and awareness. Our teacher training is designed not merely to create instructors, but to nurture practitioners who live and breathe the essence of yoga in every moment.
In this journey, sadhana (self-practice) becomes your anchor — the daily rhythm that cultivates steadiness, clarity, and inner strength. Through discipline (tapas), svadhyaya (self-study), and surrender (Isvara pranidhana), you will experience the subtle transformation that arises from consistent practice and mindful living.
Teaching, in this tradition, is viewed as seva — a sacred act of service. When knowledge matures into wisdom, it naturally flows outward as compassion and a desire to help. To teach yoga is to serve life itself — to uplift others through presence, empathy, and understanding.
As your awareness deepens, you will discover that yoga is not confined to your mat. It echoes through how you breathe, speak, listen, and live. It becomes your way of being — both a practice and a prayer.
From this place of integration, teaching arises not from performance but from presence.
You will learn to guide others not by imitation, but by embodiment — allowing your own light of experience to become a lamp for those who walk beside you.
“When your own flame is steady, it naturally lights the way for others.”
This is the path of sadhana and seva — the essence of our training at Rudrakshaa Yogashala. It is an offering of transformation — to yourself, and to the world.

About Yoga Teacher Training
Do I need to be very flexible or advanced in yoga to join this course?

How is this course different from other 200-hour trainings in Singapore?
Rudrakshaa Yogashala offers lineage-based, Himalayan-rooted training with small batches of only 7 students, ensuring deep personal mentorship.
The emphasis is not only on postures but on sadhana, philosophy, meditation, pranayama, and inner transformation, guided by an experienced teacher with decades of practice.
It is a holistic, spiritual, and embodied journey — not a commercial crash course.

How much time will I need for home practice and assignments?
Expect around 1–2 hours per week of guided home practice, journaling, or reading.
This is designed to deepen your learning, not overwhelm you.

Our training is rooted in traditional Himalayan Haṭha Yoga, integrating classical asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. You will also learn alignment-based practice, sequencing, and breath-centered movement applicable to modern Hatha and Vinyasa-style classes.
