Her Story (The Journey into Traditional Hatha Yoga)
Titu’s journey into yoga did not begin as a profession – it began from a need to restore balance.
At one point, she was dealing with severe food sensitivities, including celiac-related complications, along with the effects of an imbalanced lifestyle. Like many, she explored different approaches, but nothing offered a lasting solution.
Yoga was not an instant answer – but over time, it became the only practice that brought sustainable change.
This experience fundamentally reshaped her path. She moved deeper into Traditional Hatha yoga, eventually travelling to India to train under experienced teachers and immerse herself in structured systems of practice — the kind rarely found in modern studio environments.
Over the years, she completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training, an 800-hour Yoga Therapy programme, and certifications in sound healing, allowing her to work across the physical, therapeutic, and internal dimensions of practice.
Today, through Rudrakshaa Yogashala, she has built a space rooted in traditional practice and small-group learning, a Yoga Alliance-certified yoga school in Singapore where she not only teaches students but trains and mentors future yoga teachers.
How She Works
Ritu’s teaching as a Traditional Hatha yoga teacher in Singapore is based on one clear principle: yoga is a complete system, not a routine.
Every session is structured. Every movement is connected to breath.
There is no rush to achieve poses. The focus is on understanding your body, building stability, and progressing correctly over time.
With her dual background in yoga therapy and sound healing, Ritu works not just on flexibility or physical posture — but on how the practice supports the nervous system, aids recovery, and creates long-term balance in the body and mind.
This is what separates a traditional Hatha yoga teacher from an instructor who simply leads movement: the ability to see each student as an individual and guide them accordingly.

Structured
Every session is intentional and progressive

Breath-led

Therapeutic
Grounded in yoga therapy and body awareness

Small groups
Attention for every student, not a crowded class

You won’t regret trying a class herePosted on Anita MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kind and attentive instructor. Unique space.Posted on PamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great yoga studio with wonderful teachers—methods are simple, authentic, and effective. The only downside is the layout. The only way in and out requires people to pass through the main studio during classes, and noise from the nearby resting area (chatting, laughing) can be distracting.Posted on Alicia AngTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The class was good — it was challenging and I managed to get a solid sweat in. However, the customer service could definitely be improved.Posted on Zheng Hui HoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. great space, friendly instructorPosted on Kalani UdaraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A truly kind, attentive and nurturing teacher offering authentic, traditional Indian-style yoga, exactly what I have been searching for after feeling disconnected from Westernized yoga classes. ✨🧡 Beyond the grounding practice, what stayed with me most was the genuine care shown off the mat. A true gem of a sanctuary in a heart of the city. ✨ The studio is cosy, which makes the classes feel personal and attentive.Posted on Niythiya MohanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tried yoga for the first time ever. I was honestly mind blown when I could do shoulder stands unassisted and headstands almost unassisted. The small class size really helped, as the instructor was able to give hands on guidance and support. 🫶🏽Load more
