Sound Healing Training in Singapore
Step into the world of sound and vibration with Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 50-Hour Sound Healing Training — a hands-on training designed for those who want to experience the power of sound more deeply and learn how to confidently share it with others.
Rooted in the traditional use of Himalayan singing bowls and supported by an understanding of sound, vibration, the subtle body and meditation, the training goes beyond simply learning how to play a bowl. Through guided practice and hands-on experience, you will learn to work with sound with greater awareness, create meaningful sound journeys, and develop the confidence to facilitate sound healing sessions safely and thoughtfully.
Discover the Transformative Power of Sound, Vibration and Stillness
Sound has been used for centuries as a doorway to meditation, self-awareness and inner stillness.
Long before the modern term “sound healing” became popular, yogic traditions understood the profound relationship between sound, consciousness and human experience. Through mantra, chanting, Nada Yoga and sacred sound, practitioners explored how vibration could influence the mind, direct awareness inward and create a deeper connection with themselves.
At Rudrakshaa Yogashala, our Sound Healing Training is rooted in this understanding.
It is an opportunity to understand the role of sound within the yogic tradition, explore the principles of vibration and resonance, and develop the practical skills.
Through hands-on training with Himalayan singing bowls, meditation, breath awareness and traditional yogic concepts, you will learn how sound can become a powerful tool for relaxation, contemplation and inner transformation.
Whether you are a yoga teacher, meditation practitioner, wellness professional or someone drawn to the healing power of sound, this training offers a structured and meaningful foundation from which to begin.
The Yogic Understanding of Sound & Vibrations
In the yogic tradition, sound has always been more than something we simply hear. The ancient teachings explore sound and vibration as a means of influencing the mind, directing awareness inward and experiencing deeper states of stillness.
Nada Yoga, often described as the Yoga of Sound, explores this relationship between sound and consciousness. Mantra, sacred syllables such as Om, chanting, deep listening and even the silence that follows sound have long been used as practices for concentration and meditation.
From a yogic perspective, sound is also connected with prana, the nadis, chakras and the subtle body. Different sounds and vibrations are traditionally used to focus awareness and support a greater sense of balance and inner connection.
“Sound becomes more than something beautiful to listen to when we learn to work with vibration, awareness and silence.”
When a Himalayan singing bowl is played, layers of vibration, harmonics and overtones emerge. As we listen closely, attention can move away from external distractions and towards the present moment. As the vibration fades, the breath settles and awareness turns inward.

About Sound Healing Training
Do I need to be very flexible or advanced in yoga to join this course?
No. Flexibility is not a requirement — sincerity is.
Our training welcomes students of all levels, as long as they have a steady practice and a genuine desire to learn. Yoga is about awareness, not perfection. What matters most is your openness, consistency, and willingness to grow.
How is this course different from other 200-hour trainings in Singapore?
Rudrakshaa Yogashala offers a lineage-based, Himalayan-rooted training with small batches of only 7 students, ensuring deep personal mentorship.
The emphasis is not only on postures, but on sādhana, philosophy, meditation, prāṇāyāma, and inner transformation, guided by an experienced teacher with decades of practice.
It is a holistic, spiritual, and embodied journey — not a commercial crash course.
Will I be certified to teach after completing this training?
Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 Certificate, recognized internationally. You can teach anywhere in the world — in studios, online, private sessions, or retreats.
What is the schedule like? Can I manage it with work?
Yes. The course runs over 10 weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, 10 AM – 5 PM, making it ideal for working professionals. The structure is immersive but balanced, allowing you to integrate the teachings while maintaining your weekday commitments.
What if I miss one of the weekend classes?
We understand that occasional scheduling conflicts or unexpected situations may arise. If you miss one of the weekend training sessions, Rudrakshaa Yogashala will arrange a private catch-up class to help you cover the missed module and stay aligned with the rest of the training.
As the programme is conducted in small batches, we are able to provide personalized support and guidance to ensure your learning journey remains consistent and uninterrupted.
How much time will I need for home practice and assignments?
Expect around 1–2 hours per week of guided home practice, journaling, or reading. This is designed to deepen your learning, not overwhelm you.
Can international students join the training?
Absolutely. This training is open to students from all backgrounds and countries. The certification is globally recognized.
What style of yoga does this teacher training focus on?
Our training is rooted in traditional Himalayan Haṭha Yoga, integrating classical āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and philosophy. You will also learn alignment-based practice, sequencing, and breath-centered movement applicable to modern Hatha and Vinyasa-style classes.
