Ritu Nanda is a Traditional Hatha yoga teacher in Singapore, an ERYT-500 certified instructor, an 800-hour certified yoga therapist, and a certified sound healing practitioner.
She is also the founder of Rudrakshaa Yogashala, a Yoga Alliance–certified yoga school (RYS 200 / RYS 300), where she teaches, mentors, and trains students to become teachers.
Her work is not built on trends—but on helping you understand how to practise correctly, consistently, and with awareness.

Her Story (The Journey into Traditional Hatha Yoga)
Titu’s journey into yoga did not begin as a profession – it began from a need to restore balance.
At one point, she was dealing with severe food sensitivities, including celiac-related complications, along with the effects of an imbalanced lifestyle. Like many, she explored different approaches, but nothing offered a lasting solution.
Yoga was not an instant answer – but over time, it became the only practice that brought sustainable change.
This experience fundamentally reshaped her path. She moved deeper into Traditional Hatha yoga, eventually travelling to India to train under experienced teachers and immerse herself in structured systems of practice — the kind rarely found in modern studio environments.
Over the years, she completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training, an 800-hour Yoga Therapy programme, and certifications in sound healing, allowing her to work across the physical, therapeutic, and internal dimensions of practice.
Today, through Rudrakshaa Yogashala, she has built a space rooted in traditional practice and small-group learning, a Yoga Alliance-certified yoga school in Singapore where she not only teaches students but trains and mentors future yoga teachers.
How She Works
Ritu’s teaching as a Traditional Hatha yoga teacher in Singapore is based on one clear principle: yoga is a complete system, not a routine.
Every session is structured. Every movement is connected to breath.
There is no rush to achieve poses. The focus is on understanding your body, building stability, and progressing correctly over time.
With her dual background in yoga therapy and sound healing, Ritu works not just on flexibility or physical posture — but on how the practice supports the nervous system, aids recovery, and creates long-term balance in the body and mind.
This is what separates a traditional Hatha yoga teacher from an instructor who simply leads movement: the ability to see each student as an individual and guide them accordingly.

Structured
Every session is intentional and progressive

Breath-led

Therapeutic

What Our
Students Say?
Posted on Google Vievien MerrieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I feel incredibly privileged to have found such a beautiful traditional yoga studio and to have had the opportunity to complete my Yoga Teacher Training here. I’m truly grateful to have met and learned from such amazing teachers, especially Unmukth, Ritu, and Guruji. Their guidance, knowledge, and patience have helped me understand yoga on a much deeper level. Throughout this journey, I realised that yoga is so much more than just a physical practice. It’s about breath, awareness, building a strong foundation, understanding yourself, and connecting the mind, body, and spirit. The training was challenging at times, but every challenge taught me something valuable and helped me grow both on and off the mat. Beyond the training itself, I’m also grateful for the wonderful community here. I’ve met so many amazing and supportive people who made this journey even more meaningful and memorable. I’m leaving this experience with not only the knowledge and confidence to guide others in their yoga practice, but also with many beautiful memories and lessons that I’ll carry with me beyond the studio. Truly grateful to have been part of this community. 🧘♀️Posted on Google Monika “Moniamleo”Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I really enjoyed the Deep Stretch & Slow class at RUDRAKSHAA. The traditional Indian style of teaching is authentic and quite rare to find in Singapore. With only four students, the class felt very personalized. The teacher designed an excellent intermediate-level sequence, using props and hands-on assistance to help us achieve deeper, safe stretches. A wonderful experience—I look forward to coming back.Posted on Google HP LOWTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful studio. I've seen so much progress in such a short time under his guidance and generosity. great form corrections, and he truly goes above and beyond, sometimes even sharing his dinner with us after class, i'm fed both spiritually and literally! thank you always💕Posted on Google Molly KnoxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really enjoyed the classes and the teachers were lovely! The sun salutations class followed by breathwork was a great way to spend Sunday morning. Would definitely come back for more classes next time I’m in Singapore.Posted on Google Natalie KimTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. great yoga studio to challenge your practice, instructor is kind and knowledgeablePosted on Google Shayna RobinsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I tried out the graceful shoulders and hips level 1 class. The instructor was amazing and for the first time in my life I think I actually enjoyed yoga and left feeling completely relaxed. My shoulders were tense to the point they would crack on their own. Class size is small, and I really appreciate the fact that the instructor guided us along with cues and counting for us and doing it alongside us. I didn't feel lost and when I needed guidance he was immediately over to help. The entire experience felt like a massage for my body and left me feeling so relaxed and sleepy immediately afterwards exactly what I needed on a sluggish Friday evening after work. Thank you!!!Load more
