Step into the world of authentic yoga education with Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training — a Yoga Alliance–registered (RYS-200) course designed to empower sincere practitioners with the knowledge, discipline, and confidence to teach yoga safely and effectively.
Rooted in traditional yogic science and aligned with modern anatomy and pedagogy, this 10-weekend training offers a holistic foundation in āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, philosophy, and teaching methodology.
Every practitioner eventually reaches a point in their journey where yoga starts to whisper something deeper, something that goes beyond form and flexibility.
A silent call to comprehend, to embody, to share.
If you have felt this inner pull, you are ready to begin the true journey — the one that leads within.
Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a revered dive into the core of yoga, a transformative journey that awakens awareness, purifies intention, and honed the body and mind.
This training invites you to rediscover yoga as a living wisdom that uplifts, empowers, and heals. It is guided by the Himalayan tradition and grounded in contemporary understanding.
You will be guided through the sacred disciplines of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and dhyāna — not as mere techniques, but as living practices that refine the body, expand the breath, and quiet the mind.
For those who want to teach, mentor, and share yoga in an authentic way, or who just want to further their own journey of self-realization, this 200-hour course, which is registered with Yoga Alliance (RYS-200), is the first step.
It is a path of self-control and dedication, of learning and unlearning, and of realizing that the real teacher has always been inside of you.

At Rudrakshaa Yogashala, we believe that every teacher is first a seeker — a sādhaka walking the inner path with humility and awareness. Our teacher training is designed not merely to create instructors, but to nurture practitioners who live and breathe the essence of yoga in every moment.
In this journey, sādhana (self-practice) becomes your anchor — the daily rhythm that cultivates steadiness, clarity, and inner strength. Through discipline (tapas), self-study (svādhyāya), and surrender (Īśvara praṇidhāna), you will experience the subtle transformation that arises from consistent practice and mindful living.
Teaching, in this tradition, is viewed as seva — a sacred act of service. When knowledge matures into wisdom, it naturally flows outward as compassion and sharing. To teach yoga is to serve life itself — to uplift others through presence, empathy, and understanding.

As your awareness deepens, you will discover that yoga is not confined to your mat. It echoes through how you breathe, speak, listen, and live. It becomes your way of being — both a practice and a prayer.
From this place of integration, teaching arises not from performance but from presence.
You will learn to guide others not by imitation, but by embodiment — allowing your own light of experience to become a lamp for those who walk beside you.
This is the path of sādhana and seva — the essence of our training at Rudrakshaa Yogashala. It is an offering of transformation — to yourself, and to the world.
Rudrakshaa Yogashala’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a sacred structure created to assist you in experiencing, embodying, and sharing yoga as a holistic way of life. It is a living synthesis of ancient wisdom and contemporary understanding.
The training proceeds gradually and purposefully rather than in a rush, allowing each idea and technique to solidify via firsthand experience. You will explore the physical, energetic, philosophical, and meditative aspects of yoga over ten life-changing weekends, with step-by-step guidance to deepen your understanding and awaken your inner teacher.
True learning and transformation are made possible by the presence, inquiry, and individualized attention that permeate every session.
Our curriculum honors the traditional yogic sciences while aligning with contemporary anatomy and pedagogy.
You will be immersed in five interwoven streams of study:
1. Āsana – The Discipline of the Body
Learn the classical Haṭha Yoga postures through precise alignment, intelligent sequencing, and energetic awareness.
Understand how stability (sthira) and ease (sukha) coexist in every pose, transforming movement into meditation.
Your practice will evolve from form to feeling — from outer shape to inner presence.
2. Prāṇāyāma – The Art of Breath and Energy
Explore the subtle link between breath and consciousness.
You will learn time-honored prāṇāyāma techniques that regulate prāṇa (life-force), calm the mind, and awaken vitality.
Through consistent breathwork, awareness expands — revealing yoga as a living energy rather than a sequence of
movements.
3. Dhyāna – The Practice of Meditation
Develop the capacity to sit in stillness and observe the inner landscape.Meditation sessions will guide you to recognize the fluctuations of the mind (citta-vṛtti) and rest in the quiet space of pure awareness.
This meditative grounding becomes the silent core of your teaching presence.
4. Yogic Philosophy & Scriptures
Study foundational texts such as the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, the Bhagavad Gītā, and the Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā — not
as theory, but as living wisdom for modern life.
These teachings illuminate how yoga transforms thought, conduct, and consciousness, offering a timeless framework for self-inquiry and freedom.
5. Anatomy, Alignment & Teaching Methodology
Understand the human body as a sacred architecture of movement, energy, and awareness.
You’ll study anatomy through the lens of yoga — learning safe alignment, therapeutic modifications, and the art of mindful adjustment.
Teaching methodology sessions guide you in sequencing, cueing, voice use, observation, and holding sacred space for others.
The Flow of the Training
Each weekend is designed as a complete immersion, blending:
Between weekends, you’ll be supported through guided home-practice, journaling, and self-study, ensuring integration rather than overload.
This rhythm of learning creates not just a teacher, but a practitioner anchored in awareness.

Ritu Nanda is a respected yoga instructor and therapist based in Singapore, dedicated to helping individuals cultivate balance, wellbeing, and inner tranquillity through the transformative path of yoga. With internationally recognised Yoga Alliance certifications and advanced diplomas in Yoga Therapy, Prāṇāyāma, Pre-Natal, and Post-Natal Yoga, she brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to her teaching.
Ritu’s personal journey into yoga began during a challenging period marked by severe food allergies and the effects of an imbalanced lifestyle. After exploring many healing modalities without lasting relief, she turned to yoga—an experience that restored her physical health and renewed her mental and emotional resilience. Inspired by this transformation, she travelled to India to deepen her knowledge at its source, training with esteemed teachers and completing over 800 hours of advanced yogic studies.

Arvind Gaur embodies the spirit of the yogi–explorer and inner seeker, shaped by the silent majesty of the Himalayas and the timeless traditions of the Adi Shakti Yoga Parampara. His journey was deeply influenced by revered masters such as Swami Chittprakashan Ji Maharaj, whose wisdom and vitality became a guiding force in Arvind Ji’s life. Having travelled extensively across India in search of authentic teachings, he found his true inspiration in the stillness, solitude, and sacred presence of the Himalayan ranges.
Lovingly addressed as Guruji, Arvind Ji’s passion for yoga is evident in every class he guides. His work has been acknowledged in respected institutions including the Bihar School of Yoga and Sivananda Nayyar Dham, where his teachings have supported countless practitioners on their path. His approach blends classical yogic wisdom with practical modern relevance, making ancient practices accessible, meaningful, and transformative for today’s students. Over the years, his teachings have drawn diverse groups of learners in Delhi, Rishikesh, and beyond, and he continues to be invited internationally to share his insights.

Unmuktanand Bharti, known as Unmukt, is a dedicated yoga educator whose journey is grounded in the timeless traditions of the Himalayan lineage. Born into a family deeply immersed in yogic discipline, he received his earliest training under the direct guidance of his father and guru, Swami Vimuktanand Ji, whose teachings shaped his understanding of yoga as a complete path of self-cultivation. From childhood, he was surrounded by scriptural study, disciplined sādhanā, and the lived experience of yogic values, forming a foundation that continues to guide his life and work.
Alongside this traditional upbringing, Unmukt pursued formal education in Yoga Science, completing both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. His academic study reinforces his traditional training, allowing him to bridge ancient wisdom with modern scientific insight. He began his formal certification journey in 2015 with a course at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), and from that year onward has been closely involved in teaching, supporting students with a depth of understanding rooted in both lineage and scholarship.
Over the years, he has taught extensively with his father, sharing authentic yogic knowledge through structured and experiential learning. He has led Multi-Style 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Defence Colony, Delhi, and has been invited to teach internationally, including as a guest faculty member for YTTC programs in Myanmar. His teaching style reflects the essence of the Himalayan tradition—steady, clear, introspective, and grounded in direct experience—while remaining accessible to students from all backgrounds.
His areas of expertise include Yoga Philosophy, the classical Hatha Yoga scriptures, meditation, and pranayama. He brings the ancient texts—such as the Hathayoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita, and Shiva Samhita—to life with commentary that honours their original intent while illuminating their relevance in modern practice. His meditation teaching cultivates inner stillness and mental clarity, while his pranayama instruction emphasises the subtle movement of prāṇa, supporting vitality, stability, and refined awareness.
With his blend of traditional lineage, academic grounding, and almost a decade of dedicated teaching, Unmuktanand Bharti embodies the qualities of a classical Himalayan practitioner—steadfastness, sincerity, and depth. His presence in the training program brings a sense of authenticity and continuity with the ancient roots of yoga, guiding students not only in physical practice but in understanding yoga as a transformative inner journey. He remains committed to preserving the purity of yogic knowledge while supporting each student’s growth with discipline, compassion, and clarity.
