Chair Yoga
Find steadiness and ease through a gentle, grounded practice that supports the body and soothes the mind. This session invites you to explore mindful movement and breath while seated or using a chair for support — cultivating mobility, balance, and inner calm. Each posture is thoughtfully adapted to open the joints, release tension, and awaken subtle strength from within. Rooted in awareness and compassion, Chair Yoga offers a nurturing space to move freely, breathe deeply, and restore harmony to body and spirit — wherever you are on your journey.
TWISTS & Bends
Chair yoga is a gentle, healing technique that awakens the body, breath, and mind while offering stability and support. In order to develop mobility, balance, and inner peace, it combines deliberate breathwork (prāṇāyāma), seated stretches, and mindful movement, all of which are influenced by the ideas of Haṭha Yoga.
Every session starts with a series of breath-led exercises, supported standing poses, and seated postures that work together to open the joints and relieve tension. Seated Bhujangasana (Cobra Stretch), Seated Uttānāsana (Forward Stretch), Seated Tāḍāsana (Mountain Pose), and supported Vṛkṣāsana (Tree Pose) are examples of asanas. These poses are combined into a soft flow that promotes ease of movement, enhances circulation, and strengthens the core.
Chair Yoga cultivates flexibility, restores balance and calm, and develops subtle strength through mindful alignment and conscious breathing. The practice provides a supportive environment for reestablishing a connection with the body, calming the mind, and navigating the day with ease, clarity, and presence.

Find strength flexibility and calm from a chair
Awaken your body, breath, and awareness with this gentle and encouraging practice. The class includes āsana like Seated Tāḍāsana (Mountain Pose), Seated Bhujangasana (Cobra Stretch), and Vṛkṣāsana (Tree Pose) to relieve tension, increase mobility, and develop bala (inner strength) and sukhā (ease), while using the chair for stability.
The flow mindfully transitions between postures, opening joints, activating the core, and promoting the free flow of prāṇā (vital energy). By balancing effort (vairāgya) and ease (sthira-sukham), gentle twists, side stretches, and forward bends promote calm and a grounded presence.
Chair Yoga is a form of meditation that fosters antar-jyoti (inner light) and dhyāna (focused awareness). This practice provides a mindful, restorative sādhana that leaves body and mind rejuvenated and is ideal for improving flexibility, steadiness, and inner balance.
